The Magic of the Perfume Bottle

💥 Facebook reminded me of this article on Fragrantica written in 2024.

A perfume is made of the Trinity: the juice, the story, the bottle. As our reviews are focused on the first two, what about the bottle? I have written that, for me, simple bottles are an incentive to try the juice inside. What about the very interesting, different, overly adorned bottles or the flacons that are part of the story, sometimes even the starting point of a fragrant fantasy?

People who buy perfume nowadays are more thoughtful than they were in the past. When making a buying choice, there are more things to think about. With the rise of sudden TikTok hits and a greater focus on ingredient openness, the fragrance market has been going through a lot of changes lately. These changes point to a perfume buyer who is approaching goods, relationships, and purchases in a new and different way. According to some research, packaging has an impact on 72% of consumers’ purchasing decisions.

🔷 What is habeas corpus?

➡️ Latin for “you have the body,” it is a writ (court order) which directs the law enforcement officials (prison administrators, police or sheriff) who have custody of a prisoner to appear in court with the prisoner to help the judge determine whether the prisoner is lawfully in prison or jail. The writ is obtained by petition to a judge in the county or district where the prisoner is incarcerated, and the judge sets a hearing on whether there is a legal basis for holding the prisoner. Habeas corpus is a protection against illegal confinement, such as holding a person without charges, when due process obviously has been denied, bail is excessive, parole has been granted, an accused has been improperly surrendered by the bail bondsman or probation has been summarily terminated without cause. Historically called “the great writ,” the renowned scholar of the Common Law, William Blackstone, called it the “most celebrated writ in English law.” It may also be used as a means to contest child custody and deportation proceedings in court. The writ of habeas corpus can be employed procedurally in federal district courts to challenge the constitutionality of a state court conviction.

START ENGLISH: CURS DE PREGĂTIRE EXAMENUL DE TRADUCĂTOR

🔷 Dacă sunteți interesați să susțineți examenul de traducător autorizat de Ministerului Justiției, probabil că știți deja sau veți afla în curând că nu există prea multe materiale disponibile pe această temă. Nu există o programă clară (cum este, de exemplu, pentru examenul ILEC) și nu veți găsi exemple de întrebări sau subiecte de examen, cu excepția poate a unuia sau a două exemple de texte care au fost date în trecut, dar cam atât. Deși examenele sunt tematice: juridice, medicale, economice, literare, tehnice etc., subiectele sunt complexe și este foarte posibil să vi se dea un subiect pe care să nu îl fi studiat sau întâlnit în prealabil.

🔷 Pentru a obține certificatul de traducător, examenul trebuie susținut în domeniul juridic și trebuie promovate ambele examene: română-engleză și engleză-română.

🔷 START ENGLISH: CURSURI DE PREGĂTIRE EXAMENUL DE TRADUCĂTOR

💡 Cursurile de pregătire pentru obținerea certificatului de traducător autorizat sunt organizate individual sau în grup (6 persoane). Toate materialele sunt incluse.
💡 Cursurile individuale încep imediat ce se semnează contractul. În plus, vă oferim o ședință preliminară gratuită de 30 de minute pentru a discuta prioritățile tale și a aduna toate informațiile necesare pentru a elabora un programă personalizată de curs.
💡 Modulul minim durează două luni (8 ședințe de 90 de minute) cu posibilitatea de prelungire dacă este cazul.
💡 Programul de curs se stabilește de comun acord. 

🔷 Examenele anterioare pentru certificatul de traducător au inclus subiecte din Tratatele Uniunii Europene, Constituția României, legislația privind drepturile de autor, drept comercial, toate tipurile de contracte și legislația penală.

🔷 În concluzie, orice temă poate fi subiect de examen.

🚀 Te așteptăm la curs începând cu 18 februarie 2026 pentru noul modul de cursuri de pregătire pentru atestatul de traducător autorizat de Ministerul Justiției, curs de grup care se desfășoară în grupă de 6 persoane.

One of my articles on Fragrantica discussed My Escape Fragrance:

The inspiration for this article came from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and her escape book. My escape book was a book of stories and fairytales from Asia. I do not have it anymore. I suspect that it was borrowed, or someone took it from our library. That book made me travel more than once. I felt like living in those pages covered with words and amazing Asian-inspired drawings. I suspect that is why I love the art of Kawase Hasui.

I have chosen Fragaria Creed because it embodies the harshness of my childhood springs, followed by a rushed summer. The air was often too heavy to breathe, and a sadness lingered in the harsh sunlight over the last patches of snow. I didn’t concern myself with these feelings back then, as I was eagerly awaiting the first fragrant blooms. Since then, every spring, I choose a tree to observe its transformation from barren brown twigs into a white-pinkish cloud.”
