Enjoy your biking. My days of long distance cycling are over now but everyone of those trips was an adventure. We don’t have many cycling lanes here, so bicycles have to share the road with motor vehicles. Lot’s of people get killed, or mangled. Less and less bikes now on the roads when it should be going the other way. North America (States and Canada) are capitalistically cursed. There must be roads for gas-guzzling vehicles and any non-gas eating transportation is directly or indirectly discouraged.
Thank you! The same problems here, I usually cycle in the park and the only safer bike lane, on Victoria avenue. I wish I could go around the town on my bike. It is sort of a dream 🙂
