The road less travelled…

Politics is the road less travelled by women. I do believe we must be guided on this road because each of us has a story to tell. The story of the small celestial world we bear on our frail shoulders like so many miniature Atlases. We must be aided to make it bigger.
I have taken the road less travelled by being empowered to speak, to use my word-work in praise of our dreams, hopes, and determination to transcend our tiny realities into a macrocosm that breathes along with our heartbeats. I am already part of an international community that empowers women to have a voice.

I have named all these acts of empowerment: “Workwomanship”.

These words granted me attendance to a “Women in Politics” Workshop. Politics is not really my thing but I have a flair for humane communication and always crave learning new things.

Make New Mistakes

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.”

Despre istoria parfumurilor

What do copywriters do?

Content creation is a massive task to tackle. We start with the story without which your business didn’t exist. It might be the simple story of how you get the idea, or how your idea came into being.

Writing is like mining for gold. We need to drill and excavate and blast through a huge amount of rock before we find a vein of gold. Once found … We deliver your content writing, business writing, SEO writing and creative writing with joy as we have a flair for writing in different styles at affordable rates.

Our lives are made of floating stories. Ours or others. Making them visible is the copywriter’s job.

I strive to make my clients’ stories visible and in doing so I need:
1.The brief.
2.A communication strategy with a view to topics that interest real clients.
3.An objective and carefully designed keyword strategy.
4.The answers to the following questions:
– Do you have a style guide?
– Who is your online competition? Why do you consider them competition?
– What do you sell? (Besides jewelry/ training services/……)
– What is your unique sales proposition?
– What are your company’s benefit statements?
– What are the most common objections to overcome?
– What is your off-page SEO strategy?
– Do you like your site’s voice?
– What primary actions do you want readers to take?

And because content is King but distribution is King Kong:
– How will the content be promoted?
– What social media platforms are working for you?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I also write poetry, short fiction and I make my stories and endeavors visible in the eyes of the community, as local councillor of my district.

When your writing goes smoothly the world looks like this:

“Half-monster, half-dreamer”

What are you after?
Money… Success… Fame…Happiness…Dreams…Love…

We are all after money. Whomever cares not about the money has always had it, consequently has no pattern in measuring having or not having it…
Success is in our blood…The difference between success and failure is vision. “When a man is in doubt about this or that in his writing, it will often guide him if he asks himself how it will tell a hundred years hence.”- Samuel Butler
What problems do your dreams solve? What problems will they solve in 15 years-time?

“Man has always been half-monster, half-dreamer.” — Ray Bradbury

Vision is the combination of the dreams of the dreamer and the fears of the monster. Dreamers fight for their dreams, monsters fight the reality (they dread) and shape it to their own liking. Monsters fight with their skills and claws, dreamers with their imagination. More or less monsters make sure that your dreams survive the harsh cold reality…

So travel with your dreams but never forget about the monster’s perspective. As we are all monsters, and it is far easier to make a kind person believe you are kind than make a monsterling believe in your kindness. Monsters believe in monstership…In the ancient times people believed in mythical creatures as they needed to understand the overpowering forces of nature. We, the (post)modern people, know that the monsters are us. We have all the stories, we have a whole sea of stories which is at times poisoned by non-believing, prosaic tiny sea serpents.
Or the monster might command the suffering of the dreamer.

Maybe this is depression. Not believing in your dreams and feeding them to your monster.

A Shark Tale

“Back in the days when storytelling was the main form of entertainment, tales of mythical creatures abounded. Today we seem to indulge in the mere scraps of what was once an epic feast of legend.”

In this modern age, there appears another mythical creature, the shark, a protean-like coiling in the grass type of snake, ready to turn your business proceedings and agreements into dust with swift, smooth-tongued, loaded Questions…

As an entrepreneur, I have started small. I am still a small fish, and I deal with sharks and corporate companies. I have created my ‘corporate’ culture from scratch, and I have developed my business solely through growth hacking.
What I have learned when trying to impose my imaginative but new small company culture on sophisticated corporates is to strike gold, provided you know who you are and, consequently, the “protocol” to offer and create huge amounts of Value and solve problems. The more problems you solve, the better you speak the shark tongue.

Tim Ferriss once said, “A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.”

Sharks’ words are never comfortable, as they know no mercy and smell fear and disorder from afar. Whoever has never been told that his/her products or services are useless doesn’t know how to shine a carefully chosen smile in the face of the creature with disposable teeth and sink into the right order of things. Which is that there are other sharks. But when a big shark says to you, “You are no good”, then you are, because you are there sharing the same table, conference room, and presentation… On this gleeful occasion, I am thanking all the sharks in my life, the ones who have taught me to smile at the glint of rejection, and the ones who have taught me that:

Be like water

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” – Bruce Lee

In the whirlwinds of our existence we don’t look at Things… We are petrified in the rat race. When was the last time you saw the stars? A flower, the blossoming trees? Felt the wind on your face?… I have read that only 80 people on earth can remember every single day of their lives. So why should you be so angry or miserable today, when you won’t even remember Today? We probably remember the best of days that trampled upon our souls in shimmering happiness.

Be like water! Change color and flow…

There are no straight lines or sharp corners in nature. Therefore, buildings must have no straight lines or sharp corners. – Antoni Gaudi
Maybe the rumors are right, maybe Gaudi was counselled by a fairy about his high-end innovative, dream-like “curved” architecture. In this respect I am relieved and resolved to keep on talking with the fairies that at times whisper soft and pleasurable words into my ears.

Also a fairy has told me that in Love, space is curved, not straight… As Love is the most natural thing of things to feel and to flow in as if in water, smoothly and naturally spreading walls of scented charm like innocently does a plum tree. Amend the curves, give valor to them and expect nothing.
Do you think the moon expects applause when it shines above dense darkness and blinking eyes in the murky forests?
