Love nebula

“Tenderness is the currency of love”

I believe that above everything there hovers a Nebula of love.
And randomly, one builds a stairway to the nebula and starts throwing buckets of love to you.

Because it is sweet and warm, you confuse it with wild rain drops in midsummer or huge snowflakes or just candy floss.

Whenever I feel the beautiful rain and the snowflakes thawing fire on my cheek, I’ll know you’re there in the nebula, dumping buckets full of love in my head…

Lest we forget

My latest at Blue Insights, a Medium publication.

You are better than unicorns
and moonshine combined.

You are better than gossamer
and fireflies entwined.

Make sure to notice
the collateral beauty
of dreaming and dreading,
wishing and fearing,
abysses and mountains,
venom and honey
in a kiss
that numbs
and talks to my heart
about the color of a feeling.

Moon and Mine

“Who are you?”
I asked.

I am a piece of heaven
that reveals the most
to ones in love…

They see the sea
and the tiptoeing stars
barely touching the milky lanes.

Under constellations
Their faces glitter
with words released
yet not spoken…
They are the children
of the stars…
that take away the meaning
of twilights and dawns.

The dust of stars
speaks more
than the sun.

Cobweb Dance at Medium

HE loves me
He keeps my tears
at bay
in a corner crystal ball
and my heart in a field of molten flowers*.
I want to loose the yarn
Again he pours
crimson dew on my weary tales
whilst I am not looking…
It warms like midnight kisses…

My mind smells
the sweet cinnamon
glueing his words together
My eyes see naught
But my garden lilies caught
in cobweb intoxicating grip
and exhilarating dance…

Allowance at Medium

You have allowance
to dissolve me
to crumple my soul
into dark pieces
to break my happiness layer
into two.
One over the rainbow
One washing the new moon
Away…

I put my sweet warm thoughts of you
into a single rose.
I leave my all tears, fears
and tainted dreams
Behind…

Writers of the Imperfect Maps

Medium.com has published my “Writers of the Imperfect Maps” in the Blue Insights publication.
https://medium.com/blueinsight/writers-of-the-imperfect-maps-276a2ce16869

The naiads have splurged with roses.
Swirls of scented air hover above their clearings.
Without petals and stars they cannot dwell
beneath the glass shine…
Day dreamers see their unfading beauty
in the sands of the fountains.

Their love is
imprecise
built on a foundation
of unicorn-green grass…

Their skeleton
is composed of myrtle and oleander
and moss-covered lungs
heave along with waters driven
by tide…

Their flesh is irrational atoms
that laugh the blood
and rhythm of life
in the veins
that sing the helplessness blues.
White hymnal doors
flung open
on Midsummer’s Eve
at the harvest of ripe and lofty words
and lady’s bedstraw
they found
in the flicker of buried treasures.

Their words shield
the scent of a tuberose
and shelter
the spoils of the evening.

They sing in the wind
“Leave this war with me!”
It is never too late
nor too soon
to wager
on a tear.

These are no Great Songs of indifference
They are the Great Songs of out-of-time
and out-of-life
that light
this new dominion
which is the old…

29 petals of all the flowers
in the world
line up to write a map
draw sounds and borders
in as many secret alphabets
as breathing proof that

Language is not like the sun,
heating and scorching
but like the moon
keeping secrets
and the arcane magic of the night
throwing stars
in the lilacs’ claws
till dawn.

Words are lamps
they shimmer in the vilest of places.
They make dreams
out of particles and matter.
The words in the
29 secret alphabets
burn for all.

“Your word?” at Medium.com

Your word?
written by Iulia Halatz
https://medium.com/resistance-poetry/your-word-9e988f3bcefc

If you were to be enclosed in one word, what would that be?
We are already enclosed in small words, small events, small thoughts making up a bigger picture. But what if you respond to only one word?
My word is freedom. I know of nobody being free, but in our world populated with clouds that sweep away the silence of the sky above blue lilacs of amaranthine Spring, I am free. My freedom is but at the words’ length of a magic rub of the lamp of imagination.

Without freedom we cannot feel the wind’s promiscuous touch as if at ripe flowers and leaves, without freedom we cannot be as young as yesteryear’s roses. We cannot see the Autumn climbing up the vines and the heartbeat of the moon, alive and beckoning.
Only with freedom of vision and thought we can unleash our unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful world inside of us.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them, I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — Inside them they’ve got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds….” — Neil Gaiman

You cannot paint in colors and words unless your mind is free to travel to your imaginary legendary lands between the corner of sunset and the verge of dawn. Unless your heart dances at the tune hummed by a water-lily. Unless your mind is raving at the wild immaculate trees. With freedom and broken dreams you can do anything. The shards of olden dreams are lavish land for new unbroken dreams.

A painting is not a noun, it is a verb — to love. To love with fierce freedom and lovely despair of losing one’s self into the loving.
In love we are maneuvering a human mechanism that at times refuses to work…That is clear, but the trying is enchanting. Buckets of enchantment color ethereal worldly beings in agonizing freedom and…love.

May we face this period with the tranquillity of a blooming tree, as we walk through ourselves…

About Iulia Halatz
She is primarily a teacher of English. Also her mind is lured by goodies like finance, economics, interest rates, the stock market, as she has a hankering for how the money is made. Nevertheless she is a dreamer on a cloud…As dreams cost nothing… In ordinary days she is a word-weaver for everything and everything that breathes. In the best of days she just follows the seasons by means of bike, skis, or roller-skates. She is grateful to all colors of the world and to people who read, smile and drop a line here, or on her email. Vanlifer of the Heart

Vanlifer of the Heart at Medium.com

WRITTEN BY
Iulia Halatz

The heart has a puzzling shape
the moment you thought it broke
becomes twofold.

The moment in a relinquishing evening
you thought it whole.
It breaks
until the morning
when the shape is restored
and your feelings pour like early April rain
over thirsty lilacs…

“The heart is an organ of fire” –Michael Ondaatje

It flickers and lights the embers of any glib desire.
