Simple Present Tense: How to Use It, With Examples

The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses.
We use the simple present tense when an action happens regularly (or unceasingly, which is why it’s sometimes called present indefinite). Depending on the person, the simple present tense is formed by using the root form or by adding s or es to the end.

I feel great!

Pauline loves pie.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re sick.

The other is to talk about habitual actions or occurrences.

Pauline practices the piano every day.

Ms. Jackson travels during the summer.

Hamsters run all night.

Why do you like Bridgerton?
I appreciate the allure of opulence and the absence of mundane concerns that permeate the lives of the main characters.
The main focus is on conforming to societal expectations when it comes to choosing a life partner. The soundtrack and costumes from the first season were truly impressive.

Each episode focuses on portraying contemporary life within a historical TV series. Bridgerton stands out from other period series by focusing on the timeless theme of love.
I would have liked a greater sense of realism from this perspective.

Therefore, I prefer Julian Fellowes‘ interpretation and portrayals in The Gilded Age.

💥Even if I am first and foremost a passionate writer, I cannot overlook the power of video content.

I started writing by chance. I started writing poems for quieting my sorrows and burns caused by difficult waves of life.
