Just Write

I started writing by chance. I started writing poems for quieting my sorrows and burns caused by difficult waves of life.

Writing is
quieting the burns
from people’s thoughts and deeds
And dissolving
all knowledge
that this will
ever happen…
Writing (an old poem)

One of the most cherished moments in my life is when I bring pen and paper to the beach and watch the waves incessantly, as my mind becomes a canvas for ideas to gallop freely.

In a more prosaic approach, everybody must make a habit of writing, whether is:
Journaling
Notetaking
Goal-writing
Blogging
Storytelling
List-making
Poetry-writing

Writing can clear your mind, refine your ideas, develop your thoughts, and help you see things clearly.
It has been demonstrated that a written goal is half-fulfilled.

Why don’t you try?
Just write!

Contemplating Eternity

Romania is a prolific country for a pandemonium of artistic expression, starting with literature, the fine arts, and lately, the art of perfumery. Because, even though we no longer live on these plains, the original Romanian soul feels solidarity with these geographical views in its eternal depths, and we keep a faint heavenly recollection of them in a sorrowful corner of our hearts.

Lilies of the valley

Lilies of the valley are the pearls of the garden, ready to be found only by those who believe in their power of fascination. In this perfume, lilies of the valley, roses, peonies, and irises create a bouquet like an early summer garden wafting in the mauve twilight. A sleepy garden that makes me feel like I am the only witness to their spreading scent.

The Magic of Florence

After taking in the beautiful, iconic Tuscan landscape below, I arrived in Florence and discovered myself in a location where nature and history have collaborated to cast a magical veil over a land that has received the blessings of both God and the gods. Many of the sunrises were so beautiful that, over the Dome, I was able to see the pink magic fingers of Eos dismantling the immaculate light of dawn into the sun’s first rays.

Would you write a book?

Writing prompt
I was inspired by a post of a fellow writer on LinkedIn.

I have already had the privilege of having my writings featured in two anthologies, The Sudden Denouement Anthology Volume I and Darker Objects.

I do not have this in mind because, in my opinion, there are two obstacles to consider: time and money.
These are typical obstacles, so what else is new? One might inquire… Writing a book necessitates unwavering dedication, RESEARCH, EDITING, and PROOFREADING.

If I had the time to start writing a book, it would definitely be a fantasy one. Simple stories of people living in a legendary land. In this, I can pour all my love for mythology and ancient narratives.

But the people would be very real, like in the stories of Alice Munro.
What about you?

Would you write a book?

The road less travelled…

Politics is the road less travelled by women. I do believe we must be guided on this road because each of us has a story to tell. The story of the small celestial world we bear on our frail shoulders like so many miniature Atlases. We must be aided to make it bigger.
I have taken the road less travelled by being empowered to speak, to use my word-work in praise of our dreams, hopes, and determination to transcend our tiny realities into a macrocosm that breathes along with our heartbeats. I am already part of an international community that empowers women to have a voice.

I have named all these acts of empowerment: “Workwomanship”.

These words granted me attendance to a “Women in Politics” Workshop. Politics is not really my thing but I have a flair for humane communication and always crave learning new things.

Just a star

I want
Just a star
And then we are
The stars that twinkle
Close to the heart
Of snowy, blizzardy winter
arrested in the wish
Of never-ending shine.

Happy never-ending shine
of winter
and precious gifts!
