What is your WHY?

💥This is inspired by a lovely post!

Indeed, it is good to remember our “WHYs”.

I have three of them:
💥I try to change the world of my students through my courses;
💥I try to create word-loaded feelings with the help of my imagination and deep soul-searching; and
💥I am the interface between the citizens of my district and the local authorities.

All these put me in the middle of many turbulent events and deadlines, but I enjoy every imperfect moment. Sometimes, I do have some wisps of time that are so unique that I can call them perfect. I am grateful for everything I have, as well as for all the people I have met and who have taught me so much!

💥Another Why is to try to capture as much beauty as possible, as in the photos below taken while cycling in the mountains.

What is your Why?

Fragrances With The Most Beautiful Names

My latest article on Fragrantica is about fragrances with the most beautiful names.

Imagining a delightful perfume name is similar to writing poetry.

Creativity Surge Hits Everywhere

Creativity hits everywhere! Just be prepared.
There are no typical days for writers, bloggers or poets.

Here I am (in the picture) in a forest clearing in the mountains, under attack by shepherd dogs and a flock of sheep. In the last photo, you can also see the sheep.

I have answered some question about creativity and writing on Quora!
https://www.quora.com/Can-you-describe-a-typical-day-for-a-professional-author-blogger-poet-or-other-similar-occupation/answer/Iulia-Halatz

Here is another answer: How do you complete a poem in any subject matter you are interested in?

I travel with a notebook and two phones, and I am prepared for any whiff of a good idea, feeling, vision, or image that I can incorporate into my writing.

What fragrances do you wear when you feel under the weather?

My latest article on Fragrantica covers my experience with positive, moderately-vibrant, and mellow-soothing fragrances that make me forget about my headaches. Fresh and ozonic scents are the best.

We talk about fragrances in connection with everything — holidays, food, campaigns, special occasions, seasons, ingredients — but what about the fragrances we use when we do not feel well or to alleviate temporary health problems?

Enjoy!!!

How do you complete a poem in any subject matter you are interested in?

#Quora #QuestionsonQuora

I love answering questions on Quora. It is like gymnastics of the mind.

Imagination is a tricky thing. It does not breathe words all the time. Sometimes it is alive, and sometimes it is barely breathing.
When I have ideas, I write in a notebook or on my phone. After that, I transferred my thoughts to my blog.
You do not just sit at your desk and start writing a poem.

I love writing. For me, it is like living in a parallel world of my own making. Nevertheless, the walls of this new realm may sometimes appear blurry.

The idea for the following poem hit me when I looked out the window and felt the mellow shine of autumn glistening into the threes.

I don’t want the summer to end

I don’t want the summer to end
That is why I try to suspend
My thoughts of winters and grey
Garnering drops of snow and dismay.

I don’t want the summer to end
That is why I am hand in hand
With clouds and planets blue,
Roses and treasures that have no clue
Of corrupt winds and misty reign
In the apocalypse of rain.

I don’t want the summer to end…

Might micromanagement be dead?

On LinkedIn, there are numerous posts about productivity and the thin line between professional and personal life. There are also many opinions on how to manage increased responsibilities.

I always fulfill my responsibilities and go above and beyond. I love my jobs, and I am not in need of someone to tell me what I have to do. This is my approach, as I sometimes operate independently.
I may have a biased approach because I set my own tasks and maintain a weekly to-do list; however, I firmly believe that a truly motivated individual can effortlessly and responsibly handle tasks.

So, motivation is the key to many doors. I am highly motivated because I love what I do, even if sometimes I do not have free time on my hands and I lack prioritizing (that is something I must work on).

I agree that it’s important to complete tasks within your own timeframe, meet expectations, and move on. I work hard while also having a personal life and maintaining my emotional standard of living. I maintain both professional and emotional standards. If I am worried, stressed, or upset, my productivity suffers. When my collaborators set up tasks predictably, I appreciate it most. If they inform me beforehand, I can meet any deadlines.

Furthermore, might micromanagement be dead? Just a thought…

Tips For Job Seekers: Teacher Interview Questions and Answers

Here are some teacher interview questions and answers for both new and experienced teacher applicants looking to get their dream position.

Also, we think that knowing what is required in our company will be extremely beneficial.

How can you prepare students for standardized assessments?

Standardised testing is used at practically all levels. You should be able to determine the name of the exam as well as its format. You will get additional credit if you explain it using some of the experiments you conducted with your students.
For us, standardised testing for IELTS, ILEC, BEC, and ICFE is of utmost importance.

Explain what is co-teaching?

Co-teaching is a unique approach in which two or more educators work together to provide instruction on the same subject. Students may appreciate co-teaching since it allows them to learn about a subject from several perspectives.

My latest video about the Drake Passage

On maps, the spindly arms of Cape Horn and the Antarctic Peninsula reach out to grasp one another, separated only by the Drake Passage, which is named after Sir Francis Drake, a 16th-century English explorer who had also been involved in the slave trade. Some prefer to call it Mar de Hoces, in reference to the Spanish sailor Francisco de Hoces, who may have reached this part of the world 50 years before Drake.

Sir Francis Drake (born c. 1540–43, Devonshire, England—died January 28, 1596, at sea, off Puerto Bello, Panama) was an English admiral who circumnavigated the globe (1577–80) and was the most renowned seaman of the Elizabethan Age. – Britannica

Some of the world’s strongest ocean currents flow through the Drake Passage, and huge rogue waves have caused the deaths of passengers on ships there as recently as 2022. Some voyagers have reported waves in excess of 65 feet.

Messages on My Blog: Phishing Alert

In a previous article, I disclosed what kind of messages I receive daily on my blogs, LinkedIn, and social media.

A few days ago, I received a message alerting me to copyright infringement on a photo on my blog, which seemed legit as it was sent on behalf of a reputable company.

We have tried contacting you via your social media and email, but are yet to receive a response.
It has come to our attention that you are using our client’s photographs on seocopywriting.ro without a valid licence.
We have already posted out all supporting documents to the address of your office. Please confirm once you have received them.
In the meantime, we would like to invite you to settle this dispute by making the below payment of £500.

Visual Rights Group Ltd
KBC Bank London
IBAN: GB39 KRED 1654 8703 1135 11
Account Number: 03113511
Sort Code: 16-54-87

Alternatively, you can also pay with cryptocurrency with a 50% discount.
……………………………………………………………………………..

Firstly, I use my own photos or paintings in the public domain. I have extensive experience in this area. So, I was baffled by the message.

Furthermore, as shown above, they accept cryptocurrencies for this ambiguous copyright infringement without specifying which photo is involved.

As I became highly intrigued by this, I visited the webpage of Visual Rights Group, where they asserted that they would never request payment in cryptocurrencies to settle a claim.

I acknowledge that I get a lot of phishing messages through my emails and blogs, but this one appeared to be really genuine.

Please be careful!
