💥Another article on Fragrantica that I nearly overlooked discussed iconic fragrances that have influenced the history of perfumery.

💥Talking about disruptive scents and defying conventions made me think maybe this is the new trend, besides all the lavish, peaceful, glamorous, and harmonious gourmands of this day and age. I stick to my idea that perfumery has the capacity to depict uninvented sweet dishes—chefs may start creating new gourmet dishes based on some very successful fragrances.

💥In my opinion, some fragrances are like toolkits we use when we want to fix things, from the most practical to the most mysterious. But, most of all, they fix all the hidden desires of the heart.

It reminded me of my student years, which were dreamy. And above all, the linden flower scent was so present and physical I could almost touch it. I believe that the linden flowers are the symbol of Berlin, having the same audacity as the barbarians who can chase away any other “alien” scents from the citadel.”

One of my latest articles on Fragrantica discusses Tonka Latte Parfums Dusita.

Tonka Latte is not a typical Dusita fragrance and is a challenging gourmand, in my opinion.

It makes me think of the most beautiful spring mornings when the air is so light that it touches the very white clouds in the big blue sky.

Tonka Latte has impressed me so much, and I maintain my opinion that whether the fragrances capture faraway lands or modern landscapes, there is an achingly beautiful, unmistakable continuity in Pissara’s outstanding creativity, which always speaks to the imagination of the wearer.

I have two.

💥Until you turn 40, you will have met all the types of people they are. This is from Mad Men.

💥After I had a very successful pitch to a company and they did not call back, a good friend and entrepreneur advised me:
“Never take anything personally in business. They may have received a better offer, or perhaps they no longer have the budget. There are many reasons why they might not proceed with your proposal.
Ultimately, it’s just B2B; it’s never personal.”

⚡️Having turned 40, I understand the various types of people and how to connect with each one, ensuring they feel comfortable in my presence.

⚡️The last one is the most important in my business. I never take anything personally. I focus on doing my best and then moving forward, continually striving to do my best again and again. It’s as simple as that.

What I Packed To Go To Greece

My last article on Fragrantica is about sniffing fragrances on the beach.
Lovely, isn’t it?

“Greece is a symphony of colors, smells, and various shades of bright happiness. Here, even happiness has different hues and fragrant perception. Mostly, I love the scent of Greece, which is that unique flowery-salty breeze that awaits to be uncovered on every corner.

For me, the main source of happiness is its flavors: balmy breeze, winds, salt, wine, seafood, fresh fish, coniferous scents, sweet pastry, and various coffee scents. And the scent of the sea being carried by all winds.

It looks like the mythology was right. Aeolus, the king of the winds, has a bag of assorted kinds, as here they smell and feel so different, and they indeed brought news of Aeolia, the mythical floating island, the home of all the winds.

Occasionally I feel my heart exploding with fragrant happiness while sniffing the balmy breezes. I have truly experienced the sensation of living on Aeolia.”
