“Who are you?”
I asked.
I am a piece of heaven
that reveals the most
to ones in love…
They see the sea
and the tiptoeing stars
barely touching the milky lanes.
Under constellations
Their faces glitter
with words released
yet not spoken…
They are the children
of the stars…
that take away the meaning
of twilights and dawns.
The dust of stars
speaks more
than the sun.

My last sea holiday this year has been putting ideas in my heart. Yet, again.
Pictures taken in Corfu.

Beautiful words <3 and I absolutely loved the pics xx

Thank you very much! <3
It is a new camera 🙂
That is lovely Iulia. It is interesting the differing reactions people have to the moon. A few days ago my Latvia blogger friend was expressing her fear of the full moon. I have a similar reaction to yours – I love it, as does Petronela. The pictures are wonderful; I note your comment about a new camera but it’s the photographer who makes the picture. ❣️
Thank you!
Yes, I have heard that some people are afraid or uncomfortable in the full-moon nights. As for myself I have always followed it 🙂
It is the first time I got a grip of the Corfiot full moon which made me the happiest!
Thank you, but the camera is very good too <3
How wonderful to meet a fellow lover of the moon and all the stellar spaces and the earth below. I loved the poem. And what an amazing blog. I’m glad I caught your attention! I look forward to your posts.
Oh, and I too was a teacher of English. Now retired and loving it. 🙂
Thank you very much! Indeed I got caught in your beautiful words and pictures 🙂 I look forward to your next posts!
This is a surprise! I am happy to meet here a fellow colleague 🙂 I like teaching. Hard job but most rewarding 🙂
SoundEagle would like to echo the words of Paul here.
For moon lovers and photographers alike, here is my poetic take on the subject of moon at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2012/10/02/if-my-name-were-moon-tonight/
Thank you SoundEagle!
I am happy that we, moon lovers, close ranks and whisper beautiful words in admiration of the MagicGiver of the night. 🙂
You are very welcome, Lulia! 🙂
🙂🙂
Hi Lulia,
I would appreciate your giving me some feedback on my Moon poem at the comment section of the post containing the poem that you just visited. 🙂 Thank you in anticipation.
Of course, this would be my pleasure. 🙂
Thank you too!
Beautiful.
Thank you! 🙂
This is beautiful, Iulia. I love the part about stars speaking and not saying a word.
Thank you very much! <3
Fabulous! Who wouldn’t want to be there? 🙂 🙂
Thank you! 🙂 Indeed, it is/was almost magic 🙂
Loved it! Great piece!
