Welcome to the most informative YouTube channel for English learners!

The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the simple present tense when an action happens regularly (or unceasingly, which is why it’s sometimes called present indefinite). Depending on the person, the simple present tense is formed by using the root form or by adding s or es to the end.
The other is to talk about habitual actions or occurrences.

Video about the rules of the Sequence of Tenses in English

Master English Grammar: Sequence of Tenses

What is the Sequence of Tenses?
✅ The rules governing verb tenses are dictated by logic; an action in the future obviously cannot happen before an action in the past. In writing, it’s a matter of looking at your clauses and sentences and determining when each action is happening relative to everything else. The past must come before the present, and the present before the future, etc.
Pay particular attention to the verb sequence when you have a dependent clause before an independent clause, or a result clause before the if-clause.

✅ When an independent clause is in the past tense, any dependent clauses must also be written in the past tense, not the present tense or the future tense. Consider the example below for an illustration of this rule:
The cat was bathing because his feet are dirty.
The cat was bathing because his feet will be dirty.

✅ Because the tense of the independent clause is in the past (was bathing), the verb in the dependent clause should also be in the past, as illustrated in the sentence below:
The cat was bathing because his feet were dirty.

New video about the Phrasal Verbs in English!

🔔New video about the Phrasal Verbs in English!

🔔Mastering Common Phrasal Verbs: A Fun Explainer!

➡️Phrasal verbs are two or more words that together act as a completely new verb with a meaning separate from those of the original words. For example, pick up means to grab or lift, very different from the definitions of pick and up alone.

➡️Popular in spoken English, phrasal verbs can be quite confusing because their definitions aren’t always easy to guess—and there are thousands of them. In fact, many of the base verbs used to form phrasal verbs are used in multiple different phrasal verbs with distinct meanings, which can add to the confusion.

➡️For multilingual speakers, in particular, phrasal verbs are one of the most difficult topics in learning English. To help simplify this complicated subject, what follows is our guide to understanding English phrasal verbs, including a list of the most common ones.

Inversion in English Grammar with Examples Part 1

MASTER ENGLISH GRAMMAR

Such a mystery is English grammar inversion that we wonder how we can decipher it. When looking to expand your English vocabulary and upgrade your writing to more than just subject-plus-verb sentences, inversions can be of great help. See what inversion grammar is, how to use it in a sentence, and explore the different situations where it might be useful as I explain everything.

Inversion is a style where we change the natural order of the words in a sentence. I know it sounds strange, but it can work when done well. This goes beyond the inversion of a subject and verb and is used with more complexity to creating interesting sentence structures.

What Is an Inversion in English Grammar? Inversion is a term used in English sentences to describe a situation where a word or phrase is placed at the beginning of a normal sentence rather than in its usual position at the end. It means you’re changing the natural order of the words in a sentence.

This can be used for stylistic purposes, to create a more complex or emphatic sentence structure, or simply for variety. In many cases, inverting words and phrases also involves changing their order from normal.

Entrepreneurship

As I don’t go with the flow, I wouldn’t write about trendy topics, I stick to the less fashionable words in English…Hence my invisible stories, my monthly words and my daily English courses.

I have become an entrepreneur out of love for English…For speaking English with my students.  I have been creating new skills.

I have continuously proven myself. I am the person at the coalface.

My credo in being entrepreneurial is “Nobody can copy the work”.

Some can copy your ideas but nobody can work as hard as you do…You are the person at the coalface.

As it has been said: 1% inspiration & 99% perspiration.

What I have learned in 2015:

You tackle problems with your skills. They are enough to make do.

If your imagination speaks to you, LISTEN! As imagination makes the invisible, visible. Consequently, some of my invisible stories have become visible:

I bid you a Blissful New Year full of challenges and simple blue solutions, irresistible ideas and charming people, stories to tell and listen and huge heaps of SMILES.

Iulia

Quote

“If I had asked people what they wanted they would have said faster horses”.
Henry Ford.

If I had asked my students what they wanted they would have said an English-Romanian translation course.

Not having asked and keeping my head and thoughts firmly outside the box, I ask you to speak English.

I ask you to think creatively and transform your thoughts in a story …

Don’t worry about your mistakes.

As long as you don’t take them anywhere with you or tuck them in every chilly evening…you will be fine…

At my courses I give you the user manual for transforming your thoughts in a simple English story.
